Work needs to be done to help parents build good eating habits for their growing children.

Study Connection is an after-school tutoring program sponsored by Fort Wayne Community Schools and supported by a wide range of community organizations and businesses. Volunteers are matched one-to-one with students in grades 1 through 5 for a one-hour homework help session once a week.

In Indiana, safe infant sleep is a hot topic. In 2009, Indiana’s Department of Child Services reported that on average, one Indiana child dies each week as a result of unsafe sleep practices.
The Department of Child Services has launched a safe sleep campaign featuring a PSA depicting the death of an infant as a result of an unsafe sleep situation. Following the shocking images was the text, “Never sleep with an infant.”

I hear more times than not from couples that have hit that wall in their marriage, “I Love him/her but I don’t like them very much.” This is something that can sting to hear from your spouse and can be an eye opener for the person saying it because they allowed things in their marriage to get so bad that you don’t even really know where to begin.
