BEAR LAKE — Established in 1948, Bear Lake Camp has been providing summer Christian camp experiences for children and teens for more than 60 years. Located on Bear Lake in Noble County, the camp offers seven weeks of camps during June and July.

Several churches and youth agencies throughout Northeast Indiana and beyond enroll kids in the nondenominational camp. Along with daily Bible lessons and worship, campers explore nature, play games and learn creative activities such as canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, disc golf, archery, carpet ball, basketball, softball, volleyball, kickball, a climbing wall, a challenge course, crafts and more.

A trained staff of college students serves as counselors providing continual oversight and positive role models. Campers are encouraged toward maturity in Christ and productive citizenship.

Weekly camps run through July 30 for kids entering grades 3-12. A day camp, open to those entering grades K-6, will be held July 5-9.
