What: An annual interactive event with many returning favorites such as Weible’s Fence Painting, Farm Bureau animals, and Cole Center Family YMCA obstacle course. New this year are the kick off for National Lemonade Day 2011. Each neighborhood will have a lemonade stand created, designed and run by a local young entrepreneur
Food: Free lunches for kids will be returning.

Passports: Kids who complete the passport by completing two events in each of the five neighborhoods and a short parent survey about their experiences will be eligible to enter a drawing for prizes.

Fun stuff: Some of the 90-100 fascinating interactive events are Gas Light Children’s Theatre performing songs from “Tiny Thumbelina;” Early Childhood Alliance “Let’s Move” activity; Noble County Idol finalist performances; Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby Race races; Kendallville Police Department car demonstrations; Meet the Mayor; Dekko Before5.org Hammer Fun; Cornerstone Vision Counseling & Psychological Services Core Choices Apple Tree activity (choose ripe or rotten apples and learn ways to deal with stress, communicate feelings, etc.); balloon art by TAG Art; food tasting and food demonstrations sessions; EMS demonstrations; Parkview Noble Truth or Dare Nutrition Challenge; Jansen Family Dentistry teeth impressions; Farm Bureau animals, ice cream, watermelon tasting, fun on the farm activities; Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo what’s new at the zoo; Hoosier Bird Buddies — meet the parrots up close, and much more!
